We found some spears from ancient greek.
The spear we found proves they had some type of warfare. It hs been used there bor it is a little blunt.
Spears were a weapon that the ancient greeks used for close range melee fighting, but this was not the only weapon the greeks used. They also used javalin ,bows, and swords. One soldier would be called a hoplite. A group of hoplites would be called a phalax. When you wanted to be a hoplite all you would need to be able to do is buy your own armor. When greece was not at war the hoplites usually worked as mercaneries in other wars. One tatic they would use is they covered themself with there shield and stab with there spear. One that would happen if you were in a phalax under heavy fire of arrows and manf people attacking you you would put your shields together and hold your spear above them facing downward then charge till you hit the archers. Also another strategy for protection would be the are on top the city wall and when the enemy come the javalin men throw there javalin.
Overall there shield and spear was an improtant thing. They also had to buy there own armor and weapons. They solved all intrusions with war and raided with war.
If there was a boundary problem there was a war.
There were 4 basic weapons. Swords, Spears, Bows, and Javalin.
